Microwave Troubleshooting
 

WARNING: Never remove the cabinet! Microwave ovens generates very high voltages, these components can cause serious injuries or even death even when the machine is disconnected from power. Do not perform any repairs yourself, please contact us for help!

Microwave Fails to Start:
Microwave Runs but Fails to Heat:
Odors:

Microwave Fails to Start:

  • Check power supply, House breaker/Fuse panel.
  • Double-check the program that you entered.
  • Unplug the microwave or turn the breaker off for approximately 20 to 30 minutes then plug back in; reprogram the clock and retry the cycle.

Microwave Runs but Fails to Heat:

  • Servicing of all internal components requires the use of special diagnostics equipment; please contact us for help!

Odors:

  • Maintaining a clean microwave is the best way to avoid odors. Spills and other food particles should be removed after each use of the appliance.
    Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda to 1 cup of water or add 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1 cup of water. Place in the microwave and run for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
